The main attraction of this set though is the X-Men's signature X-Jet/Blackbird plane. This has to be one of my favorite vehicles that i've build and it helps skyrocket this set into my top 2 for all of the LEGO Marvel sets! The plane is quite large and can hold pretty much all the minifigures in this set. The amount of detail put into this vehicle is amazing and I absolutely loved building it. The plane has some nice little missiles you can flick out...but also some spring loaded "laser blasts" that shift out of the piece in the back of the plane...and they shoot out very well. It's really hard to explain without you seeing someone build the vehicle...so I hope you'll take my word for it when I say it's incredible.
Though January 2015 has been an expensive month for LEGO fans, filled with new exclusives and new releases in popular themes like LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Chima and LEGO Justice League, many collectors are still feeling a bit of a void as they await the first LEGO Marvel 2015 sets. Themed for Avengers: Age of Ultron, the first 2015 LEGO Marvel sets still won’t arrive until late this winter. But as awesome as , I know plenty of fans have been dying to see some crisp, hi-res photos of the LEGO Marvel Age of Ultron sets. And while we still have to wait to buy it, the LEGO The Hulk Buster Smash 76031 photos have now appeared!
Seeing as how the calendar claims that today is the first day of December 2015, it’s probably about time that we heard something about the Winter 2016 LEGO Marvel sets, right…? Well, yes and no. While most of LEGO themes’ sets for the new year roll out January 1st, the LEGO Marvel 2016 sets are not among them. We’ll have to wait a while longer for those. Even so, at least we now know a few sets we can look forward to this winter–including the first-ever LEGO Thanos and Captain Marvel minifigures!
